Sound Wave Capture records and analyses short samples of sound using a TecMaster or the microphone input on your sound card.

Results are displayed as a continuous wave and a frequency spectrum.

This kit consists of a microphone, an electric guitar cable and a signal generator cable, which connect directly to the TecMaster or the microphone input on your PC sound card for Sound Wave Capture activities.

At a fraction of the price of a conventional spectrum analyser this is an essential tool in senior Physics.

Note: To use the microphone input on your sound card you need to be using Windows 98SE or later and
WinTec Version 5.04.30 or later.

Sound Level Sensor 40 to 100 dBA

This sensor measures sound level in decibels. The unit dBA indicates that the signals are filtered to give an A-weighted response that approximates the sensitivity of the human ear to different frequencies.
