Version 5.02.53 - 16 June 2008
- Fixed a problem in Fast Scanner experiments on USB TecFour (and US103 adaptor). It was causing the experiment to stop running.
- Fixed a problem in Psychology software that caused the Tachistoscope experiments to fail when using a serial cable.
- Ultrasonic experiments using the TCS2 interface - the test readings panel now shows then distance.
If no ribbon cable is attached an extra message is shown to prompt the user to attach ribbon cable
and press TCS2 reset button.

- For some Mechanics and Timing experiments, the View Text option was not setting row heights and column widths correctly.
Version 5.02.51 - 20 May 2008
- Modified the way the program checks device status on Tainlab USB to serial adaptor (US104) and Fielder USB.
- There was an occasional problem when Tainlab USB devices were plugged in, resulting in a false error message indicating a problem on a serial port. A USB device change now closes the serial port.
- Fixed a problem detecting the TecMaster interface when used via the Tainlab USB adaptor (US103).
- Modified program to prevent an occasional error message when Tainlab USB devices are unplugged just before the Wintec program is shut down.
- Added diagnostics log file for USB device change and device timeouts to resolve customer issues with USB device problems.
- Modified the way Tainlab USB Devices are turned on to resolve a problem where the USB power failed to come on.
Version 5.02.50 - 13 May 2008
- For Psychology, modified the Quick Start menu to include TecFour and Fielder in list of interfaces that can perform experiments with the Tachistoscope.
- Modified the Quick Start menu to allow Ultrasonic experiments to show the the Fielder interface.
- Psychology tachistoscope experiments were modified to keep the experiment instructions visible during the experiment and to
highlight the current step.
- Psychology tachistoscope experiments were modified to remove the Apply and Cancel buttons when entering a comment.
To repeat, User must now click "Repeat" button.
- Psychology Tachistoscope experiments was not showing the result at the end of each reading.
Version 5.02.49 - 5 May 2008
- Fixed a problem when using the USB TecFour a message "Tainlab Device did not start" was shown on the screen, even though the
TecFour operated normally.
- In Edit Measurements, the Replace button was sometimes greyed when everything else (inc. Delete) was active.
This occured when using measurements with multiple signals (eg. Power).
- In Edit Measurements, Filtering, measurements in Power not always displayed.
- Increased the size of the Filtering edit dialog and made changes to correct the display on higher resolution
screens.
- Added diagnostics to try to locate cause of an Access Violation Error message when Wintec Starts (and also when the program closes).
- Fixed a problem in Edit measurements when using the Replace button with experiments that included
Power measurements.
- Customers reported a "USB" crash if there is a glitch on mains power. An error message is displayed with "OPEN ERR 22"
The Power Glitch will cause the USB hub to power down
- Modified power up procedure for Tainlab USB interfaces (TecFour USB and USB to serial adaptor, US103)
- Modified procedures for starting USB monitoring code in WinTec. Found evidence of an extra USB system device change on some computers when a USB device is connected when the Wintec program is running.
- added exception handling on USB HID device GetVendorName, GetProductName to resolve errors where the Vendor Name and Product Name
were incorrectly reported. This problem is due to faulty USB computer subsystem,
in particular systems with USB 2.0 downstream hubs. Microsoft have reported timing problems with USB 1.0 devices run on USB 2.0 machines using
Windows XP versions prior to Service Pack 2.
- Fixed a problem with Manual keyboard entry. The panel was - Manual control box - hide when zoomed }
- Then X Axis Label was not shown on graphs properly under some conditions.
- In Data Logger experiments that did not use a graph, when you click Stop Logger, the Text results were not displayed.
- Statistics display. Fixed a problem where the statistics panel was not updated under some conditions.

- A problem was fixed with Statistics that prevented statistics display for Datalogger experiments under some conditions.
- There was a problem with the TCS2 Period and Event measurement when used with a Belkin USB adaptor. The TCS2 was not set up properly.
Extended delays between characters to 55ms.
- On the connect screen and Add New Measurement, the Heart Rate image now shows both the Heart Rate Monitor (CB106) and the Polar Receiver (CB112).
- The connections screen showwed the Voltage Control Knob in the wrong position.
Version 5.02.46 - 27 February 2008
- Export to Excel was failing due to a folder name error.
- In the Export menu, the Create Excel Chart option failed to draw the graph for some results files.
- The Export Form was too small - the right side did not display.
- The Tainlab User Guide was Updated.
- In Psychology, the Tachistoscope was failing to operate when used with a TCS2 interface
on a Tainlab USB adaptor (US103).
- The System Info screen on the Help About display no longer checks for an Ohaus Scout Pro balance. This was done to reduce waiting time.
Version 5.02.44 - 11 March 2008
- Tainlab serial devices were being disconnected if the system had a USB device change (ie. mouse or USB keyboard plugged in or unplugged).
- Changes to overcome problems with identification of USB HID devices (Tainlab TecFour, US103 adaptor) if connected via a downstream USB 2 hub.
- The Tainlab Results Library changed so the mouse wheel can be used to scroll through the list.
- The Quick Start menu now displays files suitable for the currently connected Tainlab interface.
- The Quick Start menu Interfaces list now includes the USB Mini CRO.
- The Results Library - Students Tab - was showing all results files.
- The main Connect Screen Info Tab had an issue in the cancelling an Edit did not reset the button states unless changes had been made.
- Changes to screen button sizes to allow correct display for Large Fonts (120DPI).
